ABOUT austin women in technology
Austin Women in Technology (AWT) is an Austin-based 501(c)(3) organization. Chartered in 2000, we are a professional organization committed to providing opportunities for women in technology to network and assist others who work in or have a passion for technology. We offer:
- Events in Austin and virtual events
- Networking for jobs in tech
- Professional development
- Allyship and mentors
- Leadership and executive coaching
The founding members of AWT are trailblazers. They were the first in their families to attend college, to study in tech, or to start a company. They were the first female managers and board members in their companys. AWT continues to be a support system for women pushing their own boundaries - whether they be the first, fiftieth, or five-hundredth to achieve their goals.
We're building a visible community of individuals supporting women in tech. We offer opportunities for networking and programs for members to learn about a variety of topics. Members also have the chance to work side-by-side with other intelligent, civic-minded women through our volunteer leadership positions.
